China Glaze's Purple Panic and Claire's Cosmetics Black Crackle Polish

Hello everyone! Hope a great Easter was had by all (for those that celebrate it). It's the beginning of the week again and that means a new nail polish pick of the week :) This week, I thought I'd switch it up and try something a little different. I was looking through my nail polish collection for ideas and found a bottle of black crackle polish that I've had for a long time and then paired it with a color I love! Apply 1-2 coats of China Glaze's Purple Panic, it's really up to you since it's a matte finish. Then apply 1 thin-medium coat of Claire's Cosmetics Black Crackle polish (any brand will do as long as it gives that crackle effect). Then apply 1 coat of any clear top coat desired to seal it all in! :)

China Glaze's Lubu Heels and OPI's Not Like The Movies (Katy Perry)

Well everyone, it's the beginning of the week again and that means my weekly nail polish pick! This week I thought I'd do something a little different. I put a slightly thick coat of China Glaze's Lubu Heels on my nails, thick enough that it's opaque but not so opaque that it'll never dry. Then, once Lubu Heels has dried, put on a coat of OPI's Not Like the Movies from the Katy Perry collection, you don't want to see any black under Not Like the Movies.

That's my nail pick for the week, what's yours?

Hope you enjoyed this post, have a great day! :)

Spring Haul!

This spring I'm trying new things in makeup, so this haul was a good sized one!

Let's get started with MAC eyeshadows :)

(Left to right: MAC's Aquadisiac (Lustre), Stars 'N' Rockets (Veluxe Pearl) and Black Tied (Velvet)
So far, I've only used Stars 'N' Rockets and I've gotta say it's already one of my favorite eyeshadows of all time, the only other shadow I like more than this one is Lancome's Luring. Aquadisiac is a color I've always wanted to play around with and create some looks with,  I bought Black Tied to use as an eyeliner, not quite as dramatic black as Carbon is.

Moving along to another MAC product
MAC's Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
I love MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly, but some days it looks orange on my pale skin, I bought MAC's Paint Pot in Soft Ochre for such days.

From Sephora, Amazing Concealer
Amazing Concealer in Ivory
From what I've seen so far with it, it lives up to its name. I believe that Hard Candy tried to make a dupe of this when they made their Heavy Duty concealer, but I'd only recommend that for covering up bruises and tattoos since it's so thick. But Amazing Concealer is perfect for covering up those pesky undereye circles, definitely worth it :)

Look out, it's time for nail polishes!
(Left to right: Sephora's Fierce (neon), China Glaze's Liquid Crystal, China Glaze's Rare & Radiant and China Glaze's Deviantly Daring
Anyone that knows me really well knows that I love my nail polishes and am willing to try most any color. My boyfriend bought Sephora's Fierce and I love it. I haven't tried any of the China Glaze polishes yet, but give me a couple weeks :)

From Birchbox and MAC, lipglosses
(Left to right: MAC's Mall Madness, Stila's Cherry Blossom, Stila's Rosebud and Stila's Dahlia
I've never been much on lipsticks, but lipglosses I can do. I haven't tried any of these yet except for Stila's Rosebud. The Stila shades are actually minis that come in a trio pack from Birchbox (if you don't know what Birchbox is, visit www.birchbox.com for more info).

Maybelline's Stiletto Eyeliner
Maybelline  Line Stiletto Eyeliner in Blackest Black
I've used this eyeliner before and really liked it if I remember correctly. This liner has a felt tip liner and I really like them, but am very picky about the thickness of the line produced. Hard Candy's Stroke of Gorgeous liner is my favorite felt tip if that's any frame of reference.

Color Tattoo!
Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Tenacious Teal
And last but not least, Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Tenacious Teal... This is a cream eyeshadow, but these have several functions. They can be used as eyeshadow of course, they can be used as an eye primer or they can be used as an eyeliner. I bought it to be used as an eyeliner :)

Well, that's all I have for my haul. I hope you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for more posts, and check my youtube for Birchbox videos! Hope you have a great Monday!

China Glaze's Flying Dragon :)

Hey everyone! Every Monday I'm going to be posting a nail polish that I've picked to wear for the week :)
This week, my pick is China Glaze's Flying Dragon (Neon), what's yours?
